Food in Utah

Since we’ve moved to Utah, we’ve had to go without a lot of good food because there is a serious lack of options in Salt Lake City. We’ve been recommended to places like Famous Dave’s, Guadalahonkeys and Cafe Rio (which was in the Top 10 Mexican Restaurant list). These three places are all absolute jokes. Famous Dave’s cost us around $50 for our family to go have really bad BBQ. Guadalahonkeys didn’t have queso. A “Mexican” restaurant that doesn’t have queso… Cafe Rio…they were like a really bad version of Freebirds. Seasoning? What’s that?  When we go back to Texas to visit, we pretty much eat every meal out.  Hopefully some day someone will start making some good food here in Utah since I’m going to be here for a while.  Until then, I’ll deal with overnighted Rudy’s!
